Abstract

Estacio, titled “Ang Kanoninasyon ng mga Santa Santino,” clinched the second position in the 2018 Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards. “Ang Kanoninasyon ng mga Santa Santino” encompasses profound insights into the themes of discrimination and inclusivity concerning members of the LGBTQ community. Through its narrative, the story vividly portrays the trials faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, alongside their unwavering resolve to fight for their rights. In this analysis, the researchers delved into the experiences of homosexuals and, employing a qualitative framework wherein researchers analyzed and comprehended the story to delineate pivotal occurrences for their study.
