The role of teachers, classroom physical environment, peers and parents to learning motivation

Abstract

This qualitative study analyzed the learning motivation of students across continents. Data mining is used in the gathering of descriptive data which were the analysis of the numerical data presented. The focused variables of this qualitative research were those which influence learning motivation such as (1) teachers, (2) classroom physical environment, (3) peers and (4) parents. The theory of learning motivation which explains the interplay among these variables was conceptualized. In addition, based on the data gathered, it revealed that teachers are the major variable that influence learning motivation.
