Abstract
The researchers utilized a multi-processor device for photographic silk-screen printing for a product demo and instructional materials of the Architectural Drafting major of the Industrial Technology Department of Capiz State University-Main Campus for livelihood project which generally aimed to: “To enhance the socio-economic well-being and patronizing research product demo of the community served by Capiz State University-Main Campus, Specifically, it aimed to: determine the issues and concern in the conduct of product demo of multi-processor device for photographic silk-screen production for T-shirt Printing. 2. To describe the participant’s knowledge, attitudes, and lifestyle domains. 3. To determine the challenges encountered during the livelihood programs’ planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation phase.Methods: This study was limited in utilizing the T-shirt printing device as part of the product demo and Livelihood Skills Training Implemented in Brgy. Culajao, Roxas City, Capiz. The respondents were 50 recipients which are thoroughly selected by trainer, barangay key officials and punong barangay. The data gathering tools used in this study were the researchers’ made questionnaire. The researcher interviewed the 50 respondents. The data were summarized and simplified through tabulation. Frequency counts, percentage, mean and t-test were the statistical tools used in the study. Finding/Application: Issues and concerns in conducting a product demo of a multi-processor device for photographic silk-screen production for T-shirt Printing, implies that they acquired knowledge and techniques that helped them be more effective. The respondents acquired new knowledge and understanding and became knowledgeable about using locally appropriate technologies. After the product demo, respondents became more knowledgeable about the proper and safe use of equipment, and the training also made them aware of the needs of their constituents. The training has positively influenced the respondents’ lives, teaching them to be more skilled and enhance their potential.
