Abstract
This study examines the impact of rising higher education costs on employability, access, and institutional sustainability across different countries. By analyzing data from academic studies, government reports, and economic analyses, this research identifies key trends in tuition fees, financial barriers, and labor market outcomes. Findings suggest that increasing tuition costs influence students’ decisions regarding enrollment, career choices, and financial stability after graduation. While higher education remains a crucial driver of economic growth and social mobility, its rising costs pose significant challenges for lower-income students and financially strained institutions. This study underscores the need for sustainable financing models and policy interventions to ensure equitable access to education and long-term employability.
