Abstract
The primary purpose of this study was to determine the food preference and the health habits of Grade 8 students in the Province of Capiz. A validated and reliability tested researcher-made questionnaire was used to gather the needed data. There were 221 students who were invited to participate in this study. Simple Random Sampling technique was adopted to determine the participants. Based on the data of the study, the findings are as follows: The statement with the highest mean score was considered to be very nutritious food. This indicates that the participants preferred to eat fresh fruits. In terms of their health habit, the participants generally practice healthy habit regardless of the sex, family income, no. of siblings and health status.
